Gaze Groove is the winner of MIT Reality Hack 2025 technology track of Best Use of STYLY. My roles included making original assets and textures, importing models and Mixamo animations into Unity, and applying visual scripting to program animation transitions.

It is an interactive Vision Pro project made with STYLY for Unity, that lets the user play and practice collaborating with a virtual band while playing their own instrument in reality. As instrument players, we know how different it is to play in a band compared to playing alone, and Gaze Groove is a great application to enjoy the fun even when we're alone. As travelers to the event, the team members did not bring any instrument on our own, so we added a percussion sheet music that blends in perfectly with the Latin jazz piece.


这是一款基于STYLY for Unity开发的Vision Pro交互项目,能让用户在现实演奏自有乐器的同时,与虚拟乐队进行协作练习。作为乐器演奏者,我们深知合奏与独奏的体验差异,而《Gaze Groove》正是让独处时也能享受合奏乐器的乐趣的应用。由于团队成员没有携带实体乐器,我们在项目中添加了与拉丁爵士乐曲完美融合的打击乐乐谱。


By using the gaze and pinch interaction in Vision Pro, the player can turn on and off any instrument player as they wish, composing their very own music piece and even create time for a solo.

Pinch Interaction

Gaze Groove utilizes Vision Pro’s gaze and pinch interaction to toggle on and off individual players, along with its animations, textures, and music channel.
